- In life coaching, we can explore your past but only if it turns out to be a blocker for achieving your future goals. In counselling, exploring the past plays an important part.
- Life coaching works better for specific goals meant to enhance a situation. If you struggle with mental health issues such as addictions or OCD, counselling might be a better choice.
- Life coaching can provide you with the practical resources you need to progress in your current situation. Counselling can focus more on emotional processing.
